How to Countersign Your Amended 941s to Claim Your ERC

In order to claim your ERC you will need to countersign your amended 941s

Once we have calculated and confirmed your ERC amount, we will send you your amended 941s for a countersignature.

Before signing, please make sure everything is correct, especially the address listed on the 941s as this is where the check will be sent. You'll also notice there is an additional form in there - 8821. This is an authorization form that allows us to check up on the status of your claim on your behalf. The IRS recently changed the rules on the 8821 and now allows e-signatures on these if they're submitted through a portal on their website.

However, once we upload it, you must verify it on your end. Our team will follow up with detailed instructions on how to verify it once we submit the 8821 it online (the 941s will be mailed). Once everything is signed and completed, we will ship these off to the IRS for you, and then we wait for your big check!

If you have any questions, reach out to your point of contact on our team and we are always happy to help!
